PROGRAM LEVELS:

  • P.A.LS. (Parent and Little Skater, 3-4 years old) – This class will teach parent and child how to skate and teach parents how to teach their child to skate. It's a great class for the beginning skater. The parent/guardian must be at least 16 years old.
  • Pre-Beginner – Designed for 3- and 4-year-olds with little or no skating experience.
  • Beginner – Designed for skaters 5 and older with little or no skating experience. Will work on forward/backward skating and stopping.
  • Advanced Beginner “A” (Levels 1-3) – Designed for those who have passed the beginner level or those with some skating experience. This curriculum helps the skater become highly proficient at performing basic elements of recreational figure skating, including jumps, spins, and crossovers.
  • Advanced Beginner “B” (Levels 4-6) – Designed for those who have passed Advanced Beginner 3 or equivalent skills. This curriculum helps the skater become highly proficient at performing basic elements of recreational figure skating, including jumps, spins, and crossovers
  • Pre-Hockey – Designed for the beginning hockey player who needs to develop skating skills before playing hockey and to help with skating skills at the Mite level.
  • Advanced Pre-Hockey – Designed for the hockey player with skating experience to better develop skills for the game. This class is skating skills only, no hockey will be played.
  • Adults (16 years and older) – This class is designed for the beginner skater up to the advanced. We will teach you your choice of either figure skating or hockey skating skills. This class offers a more one-on-one lesson structure.
