September Lakeville Luncheon Tuesday, September 11, 11:30 a.m.
Come and enjoy a lunch of chicken in gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits and strawberry shortcake. Following lunch there will be a performance by the Church Ladies String Band, a lively group of musicians playing eclectic stringed instruments and singing a variety of songs. $10/members, $12/non-members. Deadline is Thursday, Sep. 6.
Metro Discount Dining Cards
Purchase one entrée and get the second free with the Metro Dining Cards! There are 166 cards included in your purchase that can all be used monthly. What a great deal and a great way to visit your favorite restaurants and try some new ones. Some samples of the Metro Dining Card restaurants include: Roasted Pear, Baldy’s Barbecue, Goodfellas, Celts Craft House, El Parian, Mediterranean Cruise Café, Babe’s Buffalo Tap, Muddy Cow and Trigger’s. Don’t delay. Cards go on sale at the beginning of September for $25 per box. They are available for purchase at the Heritage Center, at City Hall and at the Waffle Breakfast on Oct. 7.
Belgian Waffle Breakfast Sunday, Oct. 7, 8 a.m.– 12 p.m.
“Dad’s Belgian Waffles” will again be serving up their famous all-you-can-eat waffles, sausage, orange juice and coffee. Take-out is available. Each member will receive a waffle breakfast ticket in the mail to purchase. Please plan to attend the breakfast or sell your ticket to friends or family. Bring as many friends and family members as possible to this fun and yummy event! The public can purchase tickets in advance at the Heritage Center or at the door on Oct. 7. Tickets: $8 adults, $6 children 6-12, free for ages 5 and under.
