DayTrippers Theater—“Drinking Habits 2”

The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing are back at it again! The orphanage where George and Kate grew up is in peril and the only way to save the children is for those nutty nuns to mount an epic play to raise money fast…and maybe make a few bottles of the now forbidden but award-winning wine. What could possibly go wrong? Price includes dinner, show, motor coach transportation and lunch gratuity. $60/members, $65/non-members. Minneapolis Library & Foshay Museum

Thursday, Nov. 1
Tour the Minneapolis Central Library, one of the most notable architectural structures in downtown Minneapolis. Then we will arrive at Minneapolis Foshay for lunch at Key’s Café. Lunch menu includes turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetable, cranberries, bread, butter, beverage and dessert. Next enjoy a self-guided tour of the Foshay museum and observation deck. Note – there is considerable
walking and standing. Participants can bring a walker or collapsible wheel chair on the trip. $63/members, $73/non-members. Leave the Heritage Center at 8:45 a.m.,

“Holiday Inn” at Chanhassen Theater

What better way to celebrate the holidays than by seeing Irving Berlin’s “Holiday Inn,”
the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical. This joyous musical features dance numbers, laugh-out-loud comedy and a parade of songs including “Blue Skies,” “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “White Christmas” and many more! Prior to the play, enjoy lunch including an entrée, salad, vegetable, bread, potato or rice and beverage selected from a limited menu. $81/members, $91/non-members.
